Directory Listing

Every ReviewBay member gets a public profile page on the ReviewBay directory — searchable, Google-indexed, and live from the moment you sign up.

What's included in your listing

  • Business name, logo, and cover photo
  • Service category and service area
  • Star rating and review count (pulled from your Google profile)
  • Description of your services
  • A contact button (customers verify their info, you receive their message free)

How the directory drives SEO

Your profile page is a second URL on the internet that ranks for your business name and service category. That matters because most businesses only have one: their Google Business Profile. This gives you another.

Search engines crawl the ReviewBay directory. They see a page on a trusted domain, pointing at your name, in your city, in your trade. For businesses with thin web presence — few mentions, no blog, no press — that extra signal carries real weight. It tells Google you're a legitimate operation, not just a name that appeared in a listing once.

For new businesses especially, this compounds quickly. When someone searches "electrician in [your city]," Google is looking for corroboration. Multiple credible sources pointing to the same business is how you get that.

Optimizing your listing

A few things make a meaningful difference here. Upload a real logo — profiles with logos get significantly more clicks, probably because a logo signals that a real business is behind the listing. Write a service description that names your city, your specific services, and something honest about what you do differently. Don't be vague; vague descriptions get skimmed. Add your service area so your profile surfaces in the right searches. And keep your review count growing, because listings with more reviews rank higher within the directory itself.

How leads work

When a customer finds your listing and wants to reach you, they verify their contact details and send a message. You get a notification immediately with their name, contact info, and any message they left — free to open.

No monthly ad budget. No bidding wars. No auction where the biggest spender wins. Just a real inbound lead from someone who found you and decided you're worth contacting.

Managing your listing

You can update your listing at any time from your dashboard under Profile → Directory Settings.
