Cancellation & Refunds

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. No cancellation fees, no contracts, no "please stay" friction.

After you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of your current billing period. Your directory listing is removed when the subscription expires. Your review credits and message history are retained for 90 days in case you come back.

The ReviewBay Promise

If we don't deliver at least 5 verified reviews or referrals in a given month, we credit your account for the shortfall. Say you received 3 out of 5 — we add 2 credits toward the following month. Not a cash refund, but a service credit. You get what was promised, or you get made whole.

Two things need to be true for this to apply: your account was fully active during the month, and your outreach list had at least 5 customer contacts. We can't manufacture reviews from thin air if there's no one to send them to.

I want to be direct about why this is a credit and not a cash refund: the cost we didn't deliver still went into running your profile, the directory, and the outreach infrastructure. The credit is a genuine commitment to make good on the missed delivery. It's not a workaround.

Refund policy

Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months. Your access continues through the end of the billing period after cancellation.

Annual plans: if you cancel within 14 days of your annual renewal, you can request a prorated refund for unused months. Email hello@reviewbay.app with your account email and the reason.

Lead access: opening a lead is free. There are no lead unlock fees.

Reactivation

If you reactivate within 90 days of cancellation, your review credits, analytics history, and directory listing are restored. After 90 days, the account is fully archived.
